Under the order of Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of West Bengal, a Health and Welfare Committee was set up in Halisahar Municipality and entrusted to carry out the health function of the ULB. The members of the HFW Committee are Health Officer (Convener), Chairperson of the ULB, representative of the District Magistrate, CIC Health, two representatives from NGOs, Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) of the District or the Assistant Chief Medical Officer (ACMHO).
There are three Health Administrative Units (HAU) built here two administer Health facilities. The followings are the details.
