There are two Portfolios which the Chairman holds directly. These are – the General Administrative Department and Finance Department.
Administrative Matters: All kinds of development planning, township projects; Surveys; Information technology, e-Governance and GIS; Census, Election matters, GR and Pension; Disaster Management and Relief schemes; Establishment and Personnel matters, Employee and Asset MIS; Estate; Receive & Dispatch; Certificates – SC/ST/OBS and others.
Financial Matters: Budget; Municipal Accounts and Accounts Committee; Audit; Cash handling and direct Purchase; Sale of scrap etc; Employment generation / Loan related schemes .
